uprooted.

work in progress
last weekend we started one of the largest renovation projects since buying this house seven years ago. while this was long overdue and will ultimately be an immeasurable improvement, it also means that my studio has been relocated to a small little corner of a spare bedroom. i am fortunate to be able to have a studio space conveniently in my own home but as openness and light are very important to my creative process, i am feeling a bit stymied.
anyone else creatively sensitive to environment change? any suggestions?

  1. It will be interesting to see how the work you produce in your temporary studio differs from that in your light and airy studio.
